All Morakniv knives are proudly made in Mora, Sweden. For more than a century Östnor, Mora has been the home of skilled local craftsmen, their skills and knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Today, all that skill and talent, combined with the use of modern technologies, are all housed in one factory in Östnor, Mora.

A Morakniv (Mora knife) is crafted by following a century-old, knife-making tradition, using Swedish design, Swedish engineering, Swedish stainless steel, and Swedish professionals. This gives them full control of the manufacturing process that results to knives of high quality. The family-owned company, Mora of Sweden, was established in 2005 after merging two century-old companies, Frosts Knivfabrik and KJ Eriksson.
