Mil-Spec Monkey is an online retail store established by a former DJ that goes by the name DJ Monkeyboy who also happens to be an enthusiast in all things tactical and anything related to the military. Since he is short and wiley, the name suits him and decided to shorten it to just “Monkey” when the DJ thing ended. He has always had an interest in the military but his parents pushed for college. After graduation, he had an opportunity to work in close contact with the military and also use his degree, so he joined the Army Game Project Team. He is a DOD Contractor for the US Army which paved the way for him to serve the US war fighters with his unique skill set of video game art and design. Furthermore, since his talent is in art and design, he produces morale patches to put a smile in the faces of the service people and serve them in his own little way.
