Spyderco Manix 2 Translucent Blue FRCP Plain Edge Folding Knife

On 2010, Blade Magazine highly recognized the Spyderco Manix 2 as the knife with the Most Innovative design. Sharing the same recognition with the Manix 2 Black is the lighter version Manix 2 Blue.

Just like its counterpart, the Spyderco Manix 2 Blue features Ball Bearing Lock, a mechanism that secures the knife through a free-floating ball bearing that ensures the blade is locked once it is engaged. Its blade is made of BD-1 Carpenter Steel, a material with high carbon and chromium content making the blade rust resistant while maintaining superb edge retention. Along the spine of its flat ground blade comes a jimping that extends to its choil for a tactile and slip resistance and a Spyderco Round Hole that improves thumb positioning and handling of the knife.

The lightweight handle is built of translucent EdgeTek FRCP (fiberglass reinforced co-polymer). It is designed with Bi Directional Texturing for better grip even in wet or extreme weather conditions. Molded around the handle’s perimeter are series of jimpings that support the user’s grip against accidental slipping.
