Gave two to my daughters. Very important to have aside from having two-way radios. I have my own Storm black.

Have not tried it yet, but the unit arrived on time and was pack properly.

This definitely is one of the best whistles around. I just expected it to be a bit smaller and easier to carry.

Though made from the same company that makes the Storm Safety whistle, I opted for the Wind Storm instead. It's compact size makes it practical for an every day carry, without being obtrusive. Be it inside a woman's purse or attached by paracord on a wrist. The bright orange color makes it easy to find while rummaging through the depths of a handbag. Best of all, it delivers the loud whistle required for attention. Being able to use it while wet is also a major plus. This is my emergency whistle when I go out on the field for my work and when I go on birdwatching expeditions.
