The SOG FastHawk is faster, lighter, more agile, and easier to carry than its sibling the Tactical Tomahawk. This is not to say it is not still powerful, versatile, and functional. It is a tool that will be used for much more than you might anticipate. Chopping, breaking, cutting, hammering, piercing, digging, prying, pounding shaving, notching, opening and throwing are all capabilities well within the FastHawk's reach.

The 420 stainless steel head with a Hardcased black coating is mounted to the ballistic polymer handle with heavy-duty bolts and a steel ferrule to insure the strongest integrity. Side hammer checkering insures precision placement when swinging. Carried in a nylon sheath that can be mounted to belt, backpack, or gear. It is a universal tool for modern man.

Excellent Tomahawk, Light & Compact

Received in best condition. The Fast Hawk certainly earns its name, it's very light and compact, allowing fast offensive actions. Some reviewers consider it as a throwing tomahawk due to the nature of its compact design, and I can certainly see the appeal for such deployment. Has a "hammerhead" at the intersection of the axe head, which may prove helpful for camping. Great product, fantastic seller, highly recommended.

Item arrived damaged & rusty

Disheartened when I received this axe. The plastic cap covering the top tip of the blade came off during transit, packaging was not sealed properly, and the blade was arrived rusty, stained and had particles sticking on it on both sides. Now I have to research & find a remedy for what seems like an old dirty axe.

Too Expensive than its Original Price

I am a Faithful Customer of TA; but I am so disappointed y this over-priced item. Was so drooling to buy this item, but when I saw its' price - I instantly was disappointed & changed my mind. Even the Famous SOG Tactical Tomahawk shoild be more expensive than this... For the record US Original Price of SOG Tactical Tomahawk is $37 = P1900; while the SOG Fasthawk is only $23 = P1200... Please help me to be interested to buy this product again TA. Thanks!

Hi, you're right. SOG Tactical Tomahawk should be more expensive than SOG Fasthawk. We've increased the price of our Tactical Tomahawk from P1,990 to P3,190. Were it not for your review, we wouldn't have discovered that we're selling our Tactical Tomahawk at cost. Please note that imported goods are more expensive than if you buy them at their origin since you need to factor in freight costs and other business costs.
