The new Maxpedition #0229 SPARTAN Wallet replaces Maxpedition's "over-engineered" PUG Wallet design. The evolution was a result of popular demand for our general purpose wallet design WITHOUT the bulky zippered 

coin purse that made pocket carry difficult. Our customers were right; this simplification makes for a much better yet less expensive wallet. The SPARTAN still contains a plethora of small compartments secured with velcro tabs to prevent slippage. Two longer slots for paper bills make carrying multiple currency types easy.  An external mesh pocket is great for quick access to ticket stubs or to separate receipts.

  • Stress points double stitched, Bartacked or "Box-and-X" stitched for added strength

Perfect accompanying wallet for the fat boy versipack

Super sturdy fits a lot of cards and of the like, doesn't get too thick even if I stuff it full , definitely a must have .

Sturdy. Virtually Indestructible. As expected of Maxpedition.

I've had this wallet for nearly two years and all I can say to it is this: It is sturdy, secure and virtually indestructible, as expected of Maxpedition's quality.

I've used this as my EDC Wallet for nearly two years and it held up strong through and through. There were no frays on the stitching and it didn't unravel or ruin the wallet. Velcro is secure and it didn't go loose when removing and putting it back to get my cards. It has a lot of storage to place pretty much anything that you would put inside a wallet. Although expect it to feel bulky inside your pocket once you've placed enough stuff inside it.

The only thing I've noticed is that over time, it did gave my debit card a slight bend when placed in the middle (Where the Velcro strap is in). Maybe it was due to the amount of things I've placed in my wallet, but it didn't affect the usage of the card. Although this may be something to keep in mind when owning this wallet.

Other than that, I would use this wallet again especially if I'm on places where the environment is more rugged. But all in all, this is an adaptable wallet and it's perfect for any areas, urban or rugged environment.

Would definitely recommend.
