The product works well. Very satisfied.

First I tried the CLP just as I would any other CLP. It worked well. Slide was slick and the action was smooth. Best of all was the smell, which was a pleasant camphor-minty scent. Then I tried heating up the metal then applying the CLP. This time the CLP applied smoothly and appeared to seep into the metal. After a wipedown the metal was still slick and lubed!

FrogLube CLP in either form is a great partner for your beloved pocketpals. I use my tools, a lot, and for a multitude of varying tasks. From basic desk jobs, projects, food prep, and amateur bush crafts. I rotate them regularly and for quite some time now FrogLube as been a part of the ritual.

I used to clean with dish soap, lube and treat with mineral oil. It somehow gets messy and isn't all that efficient depending on how i used my tools, plus mineral oil to a degree leaves an odor on the metal.

When I switched to FL this ritual has become an actually enjoyable breeze than a task.

> For cleaning, I apply a thin coat and leave it for a while before i wash with a sponge (soft/yellow side) under running water, any remaining stain or gunk wipes off EASILY. (never went back to soap)

> Before storing, I apply another coat and just let it be for some time. Its more of a personal preference of letting it bathe in FL more than a requirement, nothing necessary. Once i get back to it i run it through any small flame, lighter, candle whichever i have handy. It lets the solution get both into the metal and flow into joints. You may of course simply leave it under the sun, but my problem with this is you need to be more wary of how long its left, plus it may wear off your handles and other non-metal parts faster. Flame is just quicker and more controlled. Then I wipe off any excess and i store them.

Cleaned | Lubed | Protected all in one bottle, its a no brainer.
