Went running around with all my tac gear clipped to the belt. Worked as expected and is comfy not to chafe, but stiff enough to support all the extra weight.

yup! it was mentioned in the specifications that it is "2" wide with quick release buckle, and fit up to 44" waist" just check the belt loops of your pants if it can accommodate a 2-inch belt that is if you decide to use it as a regular belt, i had my uniforms custom-made to fit this type of belt, it primarily used in conjunction with the Condor Gen II Battle Belt http://www.tacticalasia.com/condor-gen-ii-battle-belt/ and will not go through your belt loops and is designed to hold modular pouches and can be used also in with Condor H-Harness http://www.tacticalasia.com/condor-h-harness/
