Cold Steel Secret Edge

The knife is sharp out of the box but I have an issue with it.

The holes on the tang of the blade have somewhat resembles cracks/peeled off metal parts. I raised this concern to TA then they emailed Cold Steel.

Unfortunately their contact at CS may have bad eyesight to not see the issue depicted on the photos I provided them.

However, I instructed TA to get samples on two random items if they have similar issues. The samples have similar issues as shown on the images they sent to me. So I've canceled the return request since most of the items may have the issue.

If you're a picky knife collector then this may bother you but in a self defense scenario, the knife doesn't suppose to look pretty it should keep you alive.

As long as it's sharp then it'll function as designed.
