Now you can practice with some of Cold Steel's most popular knife designs, in relative safety, with their new rubber training knives. Each has been carefully fashioned to look as realistic as possible so they can be effectively used in solo practice, training drills, disarm drills, and demonstrations and any other activity where you want a reasonably close approximation of realism but not the extreme danger and risk associated with an actual knife. The Santoprene rubber blades are soft enough to prevent the likelihood of most bodily injury. They do however, have a level of firmness that might cause injury to the face or the eyes, so it is recommended that appropriate eye protection or a fencing mask is utilized at all times when using a Cold Steel® rubber training knife.

Great training knife

Just as I expected from a Cold Steel trainer. The hardness and stiffness of the trainer knife is somewhere in between a metal trainer and a soft rubber trainer.

A must have trainer.

I already have 3 of these trainers, the tanto, leatherneck sf, and military classic. If I'll have some extra money, I'll probably buy the rest of the models to complele this trainer set. Thanks again Tactical Asia! Delivery was fast.

Cold Steel Rubber Training Knife (Recon Tanto)

Tactical Asia's products are well made and affordable. Not to mention the great customer service they provide. Already bought 2 jackets ffom them, couple of years back (2015i think) and i'm still using them everytime it rains. I guess these training weapons would be a lifetime use for my Krav Maga practice.

Leatherneck & Peacekeeper Models

Great build, looks really durable. I thought they were softer, but I'm glad for the stiffness (means they won't yield too much during disarrming practice). Flared points to prevent grave injury. It doesn't have the heft of a real blade, but for the price and the build it's a really good training knife for beginners and intermediates. If you're advanced (or getting there), an aluminum knife might be more to your taste (though it's pretty hard getting them in these sizes).

Two Thumbs Up!

The order came in good time and condition. The one minor flaw is that the training knives came wrapped in cutup cardboard. Not a deal breaker though. Definitely ordering again!

Excellent experience

I ordered a dozen training rubber Cold Steel training knives, but I needed them delivered quickly because a friend was leaving town soon and many were for him. Lo and behold, I ordered one day and got them the next day. The service was absolutely impeccable and the cost was half of what I would have paid here in Metro Manila. Thank you Tactical Asia!

Great product...

This is a great product for the practicing martial artist as it is durable. No sharp points or edges making it ideal for practicing with a partner.
