Eye-opener on Cold Steel knives

I’ve been ignoring Cold Steel for years, unfairly thinking that it has inferior quality. I was wrong; big time. This knife, which belongs to my son, is well-built, ungodly sharp, and the grip cannot be more grippy than any scales in the market. Instant Cold Steel fan here. I am starting to look at other Cold Steel models now.

Good defensive knife.

The knife opens very smoothly with a firm flick of the wrist. The tanto blade shape looks nasty and has held up under hard use. However, the blade has a very slight side to side play on lockup. It's not enough to affect the function of the knife, though.
