The Cold Steel Kukri Plus Machete features the same wide, curved blade that makes Cold Steel's Kukris capable of delivering the kind of performance that’s the envy of many swords or bushcraft tools, but with the addition of an integral solid steel guard for added protection and safety. Its full tang is completely encapsulated in a comfortable and durable polypropylene handle that has been ergonomically designed for comfort and safety, allowing you to keep a secure grip on the Machete even in the most inclement conditions.

Featuring a rust resistant baked on matte black coating, the fully sharpened and expertly tempered 65Mn Carbon Steel blade is safely and securely carried in a sturdy Cor-Ex sheath.

The Kukhri Plus is a great blade. It is light and apparently possesses more than adequate cutting power. I recently tried cutting banana stalks with it and it cuts just fine.

Rust Accumulation - Good Job for Tactical Asia & Bad Job for Cold Steel

I bought this kukri way back on January 2, 2016 & I should say - "Tactical Asia gives a very effective & satisfying service of delivering the product safely & on the earliest time possible - GOOD JOB TA!" However, "I was so disappointed with the blade & metal quality of this kukri product because of the "RUST ACCUMULATION" that manifested after less than 6-months on May of 2016. . . cold steel surely lost my respect and admiration for their Blade Products & realized that their factory South Africa makes below-average quality blades. . . Never again will I buy from cold steel because of my rust disappointment from this kukri. . . I'd rather go for the more expensive but more durable "Kabar Kukri Machete - more expensive but worth the price. . . "

Just to confirm are the avlbl stock 1055 steel ? And not the 65Mn steel ?
