Not too short, not too long. It’s basically a one handed club disguised as a baseball bat. Personally, I wouldn’t take it out of the house to avoid legal trouble, but that’s just me. Onto the product itself.

The weight was surprisingly substantial, feeling more solid than your average rattan stick. It’s front heavy, so using HEMA techniques of conserving momentum in strikes is essential. You can hold it closer to the pommel end for more reach or choke up to the middle for fast short range strikes. I like the compact length as that means you’re less likely to hit walls or non-targets. Fun little stick for smashing watermelons or water bottles in your backyard lol.

Very handy for emergency SHTF situations. Have mine always available inside my SUV.
