It has an internal drainage grommet on the bottom side of the case to allow moisture to flow out and thereby prevent damage on the items stored.  You can carry the Maxpedition Volta Battery Case with you by attaching it to your belt with a 3 inches Maxpedition TacTie, sold separately, on its MOLLE compatible attachment field.
