The Gerber Bear Grylls Ultra Compact Fixed Blade is the smaller version of Bear’s favorite fixed blade knife. Between Gerber’s tool-making expertise and Bear Grylls’ survival skills, it is designed to handle the demands of the backcountry. It is a full tang, 3.25-inch long fixed blade that is sturdy and long enough to slice open a carcass but compact enough to be worn as a neck knife or strapped to your boot. The fine edge blade is easy to sharpen, and has a pointed tip handy for piercing tasks. The ergonomically-shaped, rubber-molded handle provides a secure grip while the bolster and textured thumb rise on the spine adds grip and control for pushing and pulling actions.
The knife feels solid and well balanced in your hands and has superb, easy handling. It comes with a molded sheath that locks in the knife securely into place. The slim, versatile sheath can be carried in several ways: clipped to your belt or boot, slung around your neck, or attached to your pack. The sheath has a reversible clip for tip-up or tip-down carry, which can be also removed to attach a cord.
The Gerber Bear Grylls Ultra Compact Fixed Blade is sure to come in handy in your wilderness adventures.
