Durable and a bit heavy, but an excellent walking aid/self-defense tool

Durability is no question (as is with most Cold Steel products), head is a bit heavier than most of the body (but does not ruin the balance in any way). Handling the head for walking purposes may be a bit hard for people with small hands, but the texture of the head makes up for it, and can be gripped well.

The shaft itself can be handled well, thanks to its texture, making it a great defensive weapon/walking aid. And as for it being slippery on tiles, a rubber ferule/foot/tip measuring 25 mm / 1 inch in diameter did help me out, available from hardware stores.
