The Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack has been the standard concealed carry man purse/bag to which other similar bags are measured. The Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack is one of Tactical Asia Philippines' best-selling bag. The bag has lots of pockets, you’ll eventually figure out which pocket to fit what.  The Fatboy Versipack is also popular for carrying a concealed weapon (CCW). It has a separate rear compartment where you can put your carry gun away from your other stuff, thus minimizing scratches and ensure non-obtrusive draw. The CCW compartment would fit most full size handgun like the venerable 1911 Government pistol and Glock 17. However, there is no guarantee however that any aftermarket accessories (extended barrels, scopes, magwells, extended mags) attached to your gun would fit nicely into the compartment. Normally, for full size handguns, you would not need to buy their Maxpedition CCW Modular Holster as the the weapon would fit snugly. But for compact and subcompact handguns like Glock 19, 23, 26, 27 and 1911 Commander and Officer, you would need the CCW holster to position your gun in such a way to facilitate smooth draw.

The Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack has the regular and s-type version. The regular is designed for right side carry while the s-type for left side carry. However, it does not mean that if you are right handed you must get the regular version. This is a common misconception. A right handed shooter can buy the s-type if he prefers cross draw, meaning drawing the gun with his right hand on the bag positioned on the left side of the body.
