Very Sturdy Indeed!

It is thicker than your standard pen, and heavier as well. The clip itself sounds like spring steel. To easily swivel the cuff key, do it counter-clockwise; but overdoing it will loosen the clip too much. It will take something like 5 twists to get the ballpoint out, but I suppose that it is designed that way so that you will not loose the cap; where other online reviews hate this long twist. Haven't tested the cuff key yet, but later, I will.
