If you are looking for a perfect case that can best hold your water container, bottle of wine (750 ml), and even your camera lens, the Maxpedition 12” x 5” Bottle Holder is just the right thing for you.  Its fully padded compartment protects its contents from damage and comes with an adjustable strap for easy carry.   The bottle holder also features a front pouch with internal elastic loops to carry a multitude of items securely such as a small notebook, a small flashlight, pens, and keys.  Generous PALS webbing on the front and sides of the bottle holder is MOLLE compatible for adding modular pockets and accessories.  To personalize your bottle holder, morale patches can be adhered onto exterior loop fields.

The bottle holder provides for other carry options.  Using TacTie straps, it can be attached onto any packs, vests, MOLLE equipment, and PALS surfaces.  There is also a Keyper quick release hook on the back for easy clipping, and D rings found on each side are for optional shoulder strap (sold separately) carry.

Its really big

It was larger than I expected. Can easily hold 3 500 ml bottles, or 1 1litter bottle.

one can browse forums such as BladeForums to find out how versatile this bag can be.
this has become my favorite EDC...
1. it is so compact, it is like a smaller version of the hazard 4 sling packs. you can use a sling set up available from hazard 4.
2. since it is padded, it has double layers of protection from temp and the rain
3. you can even carry your papers rolled in it. they will remain nicely flat and youll do away looking like an agent of merchandise, he he.
4. you can cut small round pieces about 5" in diameter of rubber padding to keep its shape
5. the external zippered compartment, can and will store things you need to access quickly
6.you can add some more pockets/ other attachmenst via the PALS webbing
7.riding on the back, since it is rounded, it has not hotspots for sweat unlike regular backpacks
8.definitely there is an eighth niceties... he he. try to find out for yourself

i just wish this bag should have come with a strap.a versatile 3 point strap
