Official U.S. Military Tritium Lensatic Compass (Model 3H) is the official U.S. military compass. 

Specifically built for demanding conditions with an aluminum frame and a waterproof housing, it has undergone rigorous testing and is shock, water, and sand proof, and is still functional from -50 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.  It is equipped with a magnifying lens, sight wire, and dial graduations in both degrees and mils to assure accurate readings.  It also has a Copper Induction Dampening System that slows down the rotation of the magnet without the use of liquids.  Maintenance-free seven tritium micro lights allow for navigation in the dark.  

Official U.S. Military Tritium Lensatic Compass (Model 3H) comes with a carrying pouch, lanyard, and belt clip.

Excellent quality! Especially the luminous strips. Glowing nicely right out of the box. Btw, did not notice the package was received at the admin office around 10am until i checked online around 7pm. Nice! Fast delivery and service even if we're provincially located.

Used it in night ops couple of times no prob. No need to expose to light source. Worked perfectly even in no starlight. Definitely recommended over model 27 if ur infantry.
