Low-key, bolt-action tac pen

Minimalist, sturdy, and low-key. Very nice to look at. Now serves as my normal office/work pen. But the SW M&P tac pen still rules my EDC.

Affordable EDC

The pen is very light due to the aluminum alloy body. It uses Parker G2 type refills. It comes with a Schneider Gelion 39 refill. The bolt action is smooth, easy to access. It’s is a dual function system for the pen & glass breaker. Excellent quality.

A must have pen!

Yes, the selling point of the pen for me was its bolt action retracting mechanism. (mimicking bolt action rifles) It feels secure, that it won't accidentally release when writing thanks to its deep notches. Slightly disappointed with mine though, when activating the tungsten glass breaker, the bolt does not smoothly lock into the notch. After several repetitions, i've carved out part or the lock and chipped some of the metal away. Feels great in the hand although the non slip threads could be improved (by changing it to cross hatches for more secure grip). Pocket clip is very robust, almost difficult to slip into your pocket but that will assure you it will stay in place until you take it out. Writes super smooth thanks to the schneider cartridge. I only hope the bolt mechanism would not give out too soon. But with all this, it's my most expensive pen but i don't mind =)
