Didn't expect it to be smaller than I thought it would be. Guess I didn't take into account the measurements. Nevertheless, I loved it. Haven't tried most of its features, but I love the scissors, sharp as it's supposed to be. All in all, it's an amazing EDC. Plus the delivery's so fast! Thanks, TA!

Convenient for light use only - don't expect to apply much force with the pliers or other parts of this tool. For my money, the Gerber Curve is a better EDC option, except for the Dime's pliers - and if you need pliers, you'd be better off with a larger multitool. Don't expect to use it outdoors: probably good for office use.

Pocketable, portable, cute tool. . Even though not really liable when it comes to its pliers. I only use the scissors and box opener tools. The small knife not really sharp but its ok for me.

I don’t usually bring tools like this for my EDC (I mainly use a Ninja Wallet) since I hate bulky stuff but my god, this thing is tiny you wouldn’t even feel this thing hanging on your carabiner!

Placed my order Monday morning, got a few follow ups from the peeps from TacticalAsia after a few minutes (I was told there were a few scratches but upon closer look the unit is in a really pristine condition). The following day during lunch my order arrived fully protected (you have to remove 3 layers of wrapper to check your stuff; a bit laborious but I bet everyone loves their package well protected, right?)

great key chain tool

I already have various Leatherman tools (both large and small), but I bought this for the package opener, which comes in handy when opening those pesky plastic and clamshell packages! It's not up to par with Leatherman, but has all the necessities you need (knife, pliers etc. ) in a small tool. A bit heavy, and the black paint is starting to come off, but I knew all of this coming in and does not bother me at all (after all, it's built to be used and abused. ) Read a few reviews that reported breakage, but so far it's still holding up. It's part of my EDC now and hope it'll last sometime. Thanks TacAsia for offering this product.

This is my 3rd ownership of this item and I can say that this micro tool has massive uses. Even my daughter Simoune knew when she got my 1st Dime. She was impressed by it and so were her classmates. Tough, compact and yet very useful esp with one's daily tasks even at the office!! Go get yours now!!

Very cute item. Modest and inconspicuous in it's folded form. Once opened, it becomes a badass tool. For light work that is. Note that the reason for it being so small, is to tide you over for small tasks that require basic tools in a pinch.

PROS:
It's quaint and unobtrusive. It doesn't weigh much. I like the black oxide finish, gives it a sleek look. Matches my outfit of the day or purse, handbag or backpack I carry (Depending on my mood and day of the week). The tools included are basic for everyday light tasks in the office or home. WIth the knife being so tiny, no need to worry about people thinking I'm out to murder somebody on my red days. My ultimate favorite is the package opener which I believe made Gerber Dime worthy of it's price. (Well 1,290 is pretty cheap for a branded multi tool). It can open a package without fretting I'll lose a finger or bleed to death.

CONS:
Despite it being compact, when I received my item it was a struggle to open. The wire cutter failed me, it wasn't sharp to cut a plastic shirt tag or zip tie. The knife can slice a piece of paper vertically and horizontally using the middle and tip respectively but it was not sharp enough to go through a 2 Ply napkin. Some areas of the knife edge was blunt specifically the part closest to the body of the tool.

Overall, it's a good inclusion to one's everyday carry for the regular Joe and Jane.

Loved my gerber dime micro multi tool! It's so cute and small yet packed with useful tools. Great for EDC! Too bad I lost mine when we went outing. Will definitely buy again soon!

Delivered on time together with all the items I ordered. This is my 2nd Dime since I misplaced (lost for now since it's been months) the first one. I would keep both even if I find the first one, it's a very practical tool, a must for every EDC bag or pocket.

I didn't realize that the Dime was pretty small, yet it packs all the tools that I usually use. I'll def buy 2 more in the coming months or years for my kids.

Even though the product is a bit small it is great, build was great. But let's see in the coming months if metal will corrode.

Perfect EDC tool for less compared to other tools available on the market.

I purchased a Dime from TA to be given as a gift, however, when the item arrived, there were a lot of scratches. Sure they won't affect the MT functionality wise, but it doesn't look good if I give it as a gift so I have to return the item and have it replaced. TA obliged to my requests and shipped my replacement order fast. Great service TA.

a few very minor blemishes apparent when first opened, due maybe to the PVD coating as mine was black. knife was razor sharp, as was the scissors, and had a nice rebound. the dime has some weight to it, and will pull down your pants (LOL). Bottle opener is weird and i'm yet to use it as my belt has one, file is way too small, the philips screwdriver we'll have to see how that works out, and the pliers are well built and need some force to be opened. i also noticed splotches of lube in places, nothing you can't remove with a little rubbing.

All i'm wanting is a can opener but in a multi this size i guess they had to omit. You can't have it all i suppose.
