I got the Houdini Pro among other package items I received yesterday. It was the first "folding blade" I have, so I didn't know how to fold the hook blade back in. I believe it wasn't in the instructions. Had to watch a youtube video and discover the lock back. Managed to fold it back after that. The blade in the hook was sharp, by the way. I also didn't noticed the batteries. I thought they were already inside and that I just have to pull out some plastic to make the LED work. The glass breaker works fine. It punctured a cardboard. Don't have a disposable tempered glass to break. I panicked when the rubber guard didn't spring back to cover the glass breaker point; I had to press it again on the cardboard I was working on for the rubber guard to spring back. The sheath, I thought was OK at first. If you want to carry it, it has this slots where you can put your belt or a strap in. It would be better however if you can strap this sheath to a seat belt. You can't do that because those slots in the sheath are fixed (sewed tight). As it is, I don't know if a seat belt can be inserted in these strap slots.

What else. Ah yes, I know benchmade is not cheap. The thing is. . I can't find any benchmade logo or brand name on this Houdini Pro. It is not on the tool. Not on the box. Just on the small leaflet can you find the word or name "benchmade". There's a "houdini pro" on the yellow body. There's a "pro" print on the metal, just like in the picture. There's also "pat pending" beside it. Also printed or engraved on the yellow body is "china". On the box, it says Houdini, Inc. not Benchmade Knife Company. So now I don't know if I just bought a benchmade. Maybe it's one of their red lines.
