In many aspects, the Gerber Gator Machete Jr. is similar to its big brother the Gerber Gator Machete.  It is made of high-carbon steel with two-sided blade, a fine edge and a saw edge. It comes with a nylon sheath for safe transport.  Its Gator Grip handle provides a comfortable and secure grip that prevents slipping even when wet.  

However, unlike its big brother the Gerber Gator Machete Jr. is easier to transport and handle because it is 7 inches shorter and and 3.7 oz / 100 grams lighter.  Thus, making this machete perfect for lightweight travel and general work such as removing vines, branches and other vegetation.

Dull blade out of the package

This is my 1st purchase with TA and they are the best for me so far as compared to other online shops ive shopped at. quick replies at inquiries, fast delivery and good after sales. Just wish there is a credit card option.

For the item, out of the package the blade was not sharp enough to pass the paper cut test. Quality of the machete is okay, nylon sheath does not wobble, over all its alright. For the price, sulit na. Saw some shops selling this at a much higher price.

Just made my second purchase this morning hehe. Im happy i found this site!

nice piece but have a

nice piece but have a doubt with its durability since its quite light in weight as compare to the bolo i used to. but havent tried it yet in quite rigid task. hoping to have a satisfying experience.
