I can't resist not holding the knife every now and then and just admire it's beauty and how good it feels on my hand. I just love it. It's perfect out of the box so kudos again to TA for only sending out pristine items as it came from the factory.
I like this Ka-Bar USMC so much that I had to get the BK-10 Crewman to be used on my trek outdoors, this one stays at home to be looked at :)

Does the box have a shiny US marines sticker?
Yes.
Is it optional that we get the glass filled nylon sheath instead of its leather counter part for this knife?
If you expect to expose to water a lot the nylon sheath would be best. I keep mine in a drawer as a collector's item so the leather is good enough. It's a great knife, by the way!

Hi, the Kabar USMC Fighting/Utility Knife we sell comes with brown leather sheath. We don't sell the USMC brown handle with glass filled nylon sheath version. If you really like the glass filled nylon sheath, you may want to consider the Kabar All Black Fighting/Utility Knife. Thanks.
