Excellent beater! Will cut through 1" thick woody stems with a little more force but all else is effortless. The steel is a bit on the soft side so you will notice some rolling on the edge when you inevitably hit something hard like a stump or a rock, but this is preferable to the blade chipping. Only issue with this beast is the difficulty in sharpening due to the angular nature of the tool.
