How long does 1 tablet last when use?

Hi Sir. As per its product packaging, depending on conditions, one large cube(0.5oz) will bring one pint of water to a boil in approximately 8 min. Thank you. :)

Does this only use the fuel tablets? Or are other sources of flame viable options as well?

Can be used for other sources. but the fuel tablets are ideal due to the small size of the pocket stove.
