Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Karambit Problems

The folding mechanism is very stiff. Almost cannot be opened with one hand. The clip and the very rough handle make it difficult to get onto pocket. As a tactical knife, for self defense it is very poor. It is bigger and heavier than I expected. It could be used as a work knife.

Good tactical knife

Hefty quality knife for the price. The shape makes it good for cutting or slashing (e. g. opening boxes) but it’s really a tactical knife. As an every carry it would be a heavy knife in your pocket but you’ll get used to it.

Needs some sharpening right out from the box. But the overall build quality is great!

S&W CK 33 Karambit

Feels and looks good. Quality is great. Price is a bargain. Blade is sharp but not razor sharp. Took me a day of flipping for it to open smoothly. Not for EDC as it has big and carries heft. Overall rating 9/10.

very stable design and craftmanship something with your eyes closed just felling it you would say and know that its made in the usa. smith and wesson materials. . can be converted in to a quick draw by removing the pocket clip and drawn from jeans lighter pocket thumb studs will catch on to jeans and open karambit on reverse grip. .

The delivery is like a lighting. From the moment that I took it out from the box I can tell that this is a quality product. This is my first knife and I purchased it for back-packing and self-defense (in times of need) purposes.
