Great Buy

The batteries are well sealed and even the package. There are enough options for the payment like the online one. Delivery is fast too. First time buying here and Tactical Asia did a great job.

SRT-3 owners stay away from this one.

Purchased it with thoughts of having a safer and more reliable battery than a cheap ultrafire 16340 for my Nitecore SRT-3, but turned out it did more harm than good to my beloved light. Loaded the battery for about twice into the SRT3, and I ended up realizing that the battery crushed the reverse-polarity protection of the light. I figured that out when i compared the nitecore rcr123 to the ultrafire 16340. I understand that nitecore rcrs have a protection that's why they are taller than the ultrafire, but that is also the cause of the damage to my srt3. Funny thing about Nitecore is that they make good lights and batteries but they can't seem to make their own two products work together without problems. The same thing with my Nitecore 14500, it doesnt work with the SRT3 because the nipple seems to be too short to reach out the positive contact of the light because of the reverse polarity protection. I guess these batteries were made with other flashlight brands in mind.

Is this suitable for nitcore PO5? Is there other better battery you guys can refer me to? Thanks

Customer

Hi, the compatible battery of the Nitecore P05 is either 1 × CR123 or 1 × RCR123. We only have the Nitecore RCR123A Li-ion Rechargeable Battery. You may also check the manual of the Nitecore P05: https://flashlight.nitecore.com/Uploads/FLASHLIGHTS/download/1515325112.pdf

can I use to of these for my Nitrocore HC30 because in the product description it features a CR123 battery at 3V while this is rated at 3.7V

thanks

Lawrence Valguna

Based on your flashlight specs, I would not recommend using a 3.7V battery

http://flashlight.nitecore.com/product/hc30

You should use either 1 x 18650 or 2 x CR123 batteries.
