The Ballistol Multi-Purpose Oil is a non-toxic and biodegradable oil that cleans, lubricates, protects and preserves firearms, knives, leather, and just about anything else. It cleans and dissolves copper, lead, brass and black powder residue, and minimizes the need for brushing the barrels and chambers of firearms.
Ballistol oil creates a protective film on metal surfaces and penetrates into its finest cracks and fissures. It will even work on wet surfaces. Ballistol emulsifies with water and continues to protect the metal, plastic, wood or leather even when the water evaporates.
Ballistol can also be used to clean, oil and preserve leathers, leaving them soft and moisturized. However, Ballistol cannot be used on suede. Ballistol is slightly alkaline in nature and neutralizes the effects of acids and acidic residues from human sweat and skin oils.
Ballistol is also perfect for household use. Why use a “normal oil” when you can use Ballistol which does and offers so much more!

Great cleaning tool
Will effectively clean barrel bores. It will remove carbon fouling. It can remove copper fouling but it takes time. Great for preserving firearms before placing them in storage. Non-toxic and gas a wide variety of uses. Efficiency of German technology in firearm maintenance since WW1.
Great Quality Gun Oil
The spray works great on metal parts. I have a problematic creaking sound on my car's front door and the usual lubricants doesn't seem to last long. Ballistol holds up much better. So far so good :)
I also use this as leather cleaner, as it brings back some shine on my full-grain wallet.
Check out Ballistol's website for more uses of this wonder lube.
