I got this because it's a choppy blade but with less of the weight and less things to worry about as it is coated and 1055 steel is not rust-prone and sharpens easily. Mine was unfortunately an old stock and had some discolorations along the cutting grind, but that's just cosmetic.

One issue I have is my blade didn't came razor-sharp and sharpening the recurved parts of this is challenging. so keep that in mind. But for its price, you cannot go wrong with this.

not as thin as I imagined. This is heavy and for heavy use. Huge potential.

fit for usefulness

Strong, heavy-duty, tough this Kukri not only as a war weapon and bush clearer but it's very useful in our gardening and chopping off wood and stubborn weeds as well. I'm so Lucky it is available here in the Philippines, thank you TacticalAsia for having this important product for survival!

Very wicked and intimidating piece of blade work! Balance is perfect and the edge is very sharp straight from the packaging. Another useful tool to be placed inside the family SUV during long road trips and outdoor travels. Must get acquainted on the handling of this blade specially its use for thrusting. Really worth the money.
