Byrd Robin 2 FRN Plain Edge

The Byrd Robin 2 FRN is a lightweight, mid-size easy to carry everyday knife for work or outdoors. Its flat ground blade is made of high-carbon 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. As with most Byrd knives, the Byrd Robin features a comet-shaped hole in its blade to allow one hand opening and closing. Jimping (texturing) at the spine and choil keep the folder firmly in your grip and ensuring control even when cutting strenuously or for long periods of time. The FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle is molded with bi-directional texturing with a fish-scales pattern. The handle material lets you hold the knife steadily while cutting even with wet hands. The improvement introduced to the Byrd Robin 2 is a four-way clip that allows one to carry the knife in tip-up or tip-down or left or right handed. It also has a lanyard hole in the edge of the handle where you can attach a thong or a cord.
